Ohayou Gozaimasu.. Finally I got spare times to write about part III ( the final chapter ) of Asz and Ira's wedding :) My favourite of all.. Prepare to be mesmerize by it!

The beads work by Sharifah Kirana memang totally awesome! I can't imagine the time taken to finish this masterpiece..

I have the honour of doing the hand bouquet and the bridesmaid corsages.

The bride requested crescent shape bouquet befitting her wedding theme.

I was worried that the bouquet wouldn't be suitable as the dress itself was so flowery...

I guess I worried too much :)

Well, a castle for a dais...With turrets and such..Fairy tale do comes true.

Hello everyone :)

Still in my lazyyy holiday mood. hehe..Well, here's part II of Asz and Ira's wedding. This time, I'm gonna review their reception at Bintulu (Bride's side).

Theme : Traditional Malay Wedding

Colour : Royal Yellow

Designer : Butik Shawn Puchong

Material : Indian Songket

"utk 2nd outfit, baju reception i di bintulu, sblah perempuan. material kain songket india and chiffon color kuning. actually kalau songket terengganu lagi lawa kot, tp harga mahal lagi la...

 i choose kain songket india coz murah skit, and then sama jgk cntek nya..."

 " I buat dekat butik shawn puchong. serious designer die tip top. owner die nama shawn. die mmg terbaik la..... die mmg sgt2 baik, and tak pentingkan keuntungan langsung... 

kalau sewa tak sampai 1k pon. kalau sewa buat baru pun masih murah, tak reach 1k.

kalau beli terus including material die provide, 1.5k sahaja. murah kan? sgt murah. that's why my baju bersanding tu i beli terus, i x sewa.

Design bju laki i ikut design baju kawen husband ning baizura.but then ade here and there jgk ubah, ikut kreativiti designer tu "

What can I say more..The usage of yellow really gives you the rich Malay traditional  feeling..

Sesuai dengan gelaran 'Raja/Ratu sehari' yang disandang.

The bride requested satin hand bouquet adorned with brooches to go with her dress.

I'm glad it goes well with the dress. But somehow I think if I change the yellow flowers to red it will be better.

~African Wedding Theme~

Something out of ordinary for those not-so-ordinary Malaysian/Asian bride :) Animal print lovers, this might be just for you :)

Totally cool hand bouquet

Some ideas for decorations : Use feathers to adorn ceilings or canopy while animal printed rugs will be splendid for bedroom decor.

Don't forget to use wooden shields, binoculars and crossbows as wall decorations!

The best colour for African themed is black and brown. Do add a splash of green and red here and there..

As for favours, miniature animal keychains or shield/feather quills are things that gonna spice up the theme. Trust me!

~Vintage Wedding Theme~

 I stumbled upon lotsa nice vintage pictures while Googling..Vintage, very nice for a wedding theme. Sangat jarang orang Malaysia buat kan?

I think it goes well with the brown paper bag from my previous post (Usually people choose wedding theme first, then only the favours that goes with it-Breaking the rules here :)

Love the earthy colour..Very romantic and old school!

My advice is, KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Use muted colours..With a dash of pink/green here and there. 

For vintage wedding gifts (Hantaran), use intricately carved wood tray.Decorate it with soft pink flowers and greenery. Don't forget lace trimmings and antique stuffs for deco at dais.

As for make up and hairdo, do make SOPHIA LOREN as your muse :) Bright red lipstick is just what we need to cheer up!

Hijab's dearie don't fret, masih boleh nampak cantik sambil menutup aurat dengan tudung ala2 gipsy. Totally vintage tau (Check out Ayu Raudhah Solemnisation Veil)

Pre-wedding/Outdoor photography can be done in classic style. (Think about props like old bicycle, mini cooper or vinyl records)

You'll be amazing how nice it would be.
